How does the collection work?

Save every pressed coin you own: a front photo (required) and a back photo (optional), the date you got it, a title (e.g. the design name) and a journal-style note – where, with whom and how you got it.

   Open "My coins" in the account menu, or click "Upload my coin" on a machine page – the machine is then preselected.

   Pick the machine in the search box (by name or city). If the machine is not in the database, enter the place as text – and submit the machine too if you can.

   Upload the photos. Your browser shrinks the image before uploading, and the server creates an 800-pixel compressed version plus a thumbnail. The original file is not stored and location data (EXIF) is removed.

   After saving, the photo shows "Processing…" for a few seconds and then appears automatically – no refresh needed.

Limits: up to 500 coins per account, 8 MB per photo, 30 uploads per hour.

Lists let you organise machines: what you have already found, where you want to go, or what to visit on a trip.

• You have two built-in lists: "Found" and "Wishlist". You can rename them but not delete them. When you upload a coin from a machine, the machine is added to your Found list automatically.

• You can also create custom lists (e.g. "Lake Balaton loop 2026") with a description – up to 50 lists.

• Add a machine to a list with the bookmark icon on the machine page or on the home page cards – to several lists at once if you like. New lists can be created right from the dropdown.

• Every item can carry a short note (e.g. "open at weekends", "2 EUR"), and the list page shows all its machines on a map – ideal for planning a route.

• Every list is private by default. One switch makes it public: it then appears on the Collections page and on your collector profile, and you can share its link.

• In your profile you can set a collector name – that is how you appear on your public lists and coins instead of your account name.

• Your coins are private by default. A switch in your profile makes the whole collection public: your coins then appear on your collector profile, on the Collections page and on the page of the machine they come from.

• Your public profile appears once you have at least one public list or have made your coins public. Its address is shown in the profile settings and can be copied.

• Machine pages show how many lists contain the machine and how many collectors have a coin from it. These are aggregate numbers only: the content and owners of private lists are never revealed.

• The original photo is not stored – only the shrunk, compressed version and the thumbnail.

• Location and other metadata (EXIF) is stripped from photos during processing.

• Deleting a coin or a list is permanent: its files are removed immediately. Deleting your account removes all your coins, photos and lists.

• Everything new is private until you make it public. Public lists and profiles can also be found by search engines.
